The
Lookouts
program is dedicated to teaching the
importance of building healthy, productive, confident girls and boys who have an
opportunity to enjoy success through their softball/baseball experience.
The teams are organized to promote the best interest of
the athletes and to provide every
opportunity for them to develop their athletic and intrinsic talents to perform
at the highest level of competition. While the
Lookouts
are serious fast pitch/baseball teams, the
Lookouts
approach is to recognize that fast pitch softball and baseball are sports and
that participation in sports, regardless of the level,
pressure, or goal, needs to be fun. Our program is
about helping the athletes learn something about themselves
and about a sport they can enjoy for a lifetime. At some point in the
future, ten or fifteen years from now, few
Lookouts
girls and boys will be playing fast pitch softball or baseball, but the skills and lessons learned,
as well as the memories, will last forever and, more importantly, help them
prepare for the ultimate challenge - life. |
