The Adrian Diamond Club hosted the 8th Annual Greg Bell/Lookouts Scholarship Classic Girl's Fast Pitch Tournament on July
9-10-11, 2010 in
Clinton, MI. The tournament format was a four(4) game guarantee with 3 pool games (played on Friday and Saturday) with all teams then seeded into single elimination bracket play (scheduled for Sunday). Their were divisions for 10&Under, 12&Under, 14&Under, 16&Under, and 18&Under. The entry fee for the tournament was $350 if paid prior to March 1, 2010 and $400 if paid after March 1, 2010. Team trophies and individual awards were presented to the Champions and Finalist in each division. In Pool Play games, MVP medals were awarded to a player on each team. Proceeds raised from this tournament go into the Greg Bell/Lookouts Scholarship fund. From this scholarship fund, each year two or more scholarships are awarded to young ladies who have played ball with the Lookouts and are enrolled in a university or college.
